Sorry shouldn't answer due to your request. I am American but living in the UK and have been for a year and a half.
I came here to experience life on earth as a human being strolling the land. What I mean is , as humans we should be able to experience life anywhere on this earth we choose.
Said all that only to say, while being here all I ever hear from the English people is how I'm crazy to be in England because everyone here wants to be in the USA. That the US is absolutely wonderful. I happen to agree but it makes me feel sorry for those that can't see the beauty here in England and are so unhappy with their own history and surroundings.
Meanwhile all who say how much America sucks do nothing to display their own identity or culture. Copying the stereotypical Hollywood types seem to be what's popular. From fashion to music to everything else.
It's those that are so envious of others that want to attack people as a whole and not try to experience anything positive.
It's sad.

Nick c. pretty much summed it up.
You guys are too nationalistic. You learn about the states of your country but nothing of the world. You think your country is the centre of the world. You think you are the good guys but your government ***** over anyone in the way of their $$$$.
and only 7% of you guys hold passports. Oh,and you consume way too much save some for everybody else.
Loud, obnoxious, and you yell "woo hoo yeah" instead of just clapping.
It is mostly the bush's oil mafia that have made you the most hated nationality in the world. It's a pity that anyone who says the truth that the Bush family were complacent to or even responsible for the 911 attacks are branded conspiracy theorists or traitors.
On a positive note, I have been to America and found every one I met to be friendly, big hearted, hospitable and kind. except for that one crack head in LA.
I just hope you get rid of bush and be responsible, just world policemen. Otherwise China will take over then we're all FARKED.

I'm from everywhere. I mostly like Americans: they dream big, they're generous and enthusiastic, they're common-sensical and they're very friendly. But they think the whole world is exactly like them, which is not true. They're also workaholic and mostly find things important only if those things are worth a lot of money; very few of them have the distinct eye for the good taste and refinement of things that are valuable beyond money, like a sunset in an ancient city and talking poetry and philosophy with old friends over a glass of good red wine, or enjoying silence.

From South Africa
USA think they are as big as there little country, They suck big time and should go back to Texas and the other states that make there oil and start selling to the rest of the world then the oil price might came down and they can stop fighting with the rest of the world for control of oil. Still missing weapons of mass discretion.

The educated middle class Americans I have met are wonderful people - polite, intelligent and anxious not to offend.
However, the current far-right, religious fundamentalists occupying the White House have me really worried. They are far more a threat to world peace than and so-called Islamic terrorist.
I'm from Liverpool.

I’m from Hungary.
The general view is the same as everywhere else, I guess. Americans are selfish, rich, uneducated, rude and loud people. But as I mentioned, this is only the general view. This is what someone thinks of if you say American. If an American came here nobody would think about his/her prejudices, so don’t worry about it.

I'm English and all the Americans I've ever met here have been nice people. But then they are the minority who travel and have passports. Not sure about the rest & Bush is without doubt an Arsehole.

I'm an Aussie. I Think you Yank's are way over the top, huge ego's. Your T.V is so different to ours. Even though were both white, we are so different. As an individual maybe o.k as a collective not so good. And the majority is brainwashed. Stop jacking up the oil price. Our fuel price has doubled in the lest 5 years.

l'm from London
l don't think the whole of the USA is thick or stupid, but they seem a little self obsessed with there own country.
Although they are very patriotic, alot more so then alot of Brits.
Every child, adult and oap in the States knows the National Anthem, l don't know ours and l know alot of other people don't.
There proud of where there from and who they are, sometimes they come across a little ignorant, but at least there proud of who they are.
All Brits and especially southerns like me do is moan all the time about where were from.
