No comparison right now. Bird had a work ethic that was absolutely beyond belief. He has to be one of the best players ever.

Dirk has not proven to be that kind of player yet. But in a couple of years he may be known as a great offensive player. As an all around player, I think Bird will always have him beat.

Not in a million years at this point.

Bird already had a rookie of the year, was all NBA 9 times, was an all star every year till 89 and then in 90.

Forget about 3 MVP's

3 Titles.

Dirk is great, don't get me wrong, but just because he is tall white and can shoot, don't even put him in the same sentence.

I haven't seen Dirk have one good pass ever.

Hell yea,Dirk basically drove his team to the finals just like bird did,Dirk may be better than Bird
