They are very useful if used appropriately. At some point, people became very dependent on them. Remember when you had to get home to check your answering machine from your landline? Now we want the calls anywhere and everywhere.

They are using us instead we use them.
Ex :- if the get a tinkle, no matter what we are doing baring an instance or two, we pick the phone.

i could not function without mine. i travel for work and it allows my clients to reach me wherever i am without having to decide what number to call. it also lets me get work done in the airport, in the cab, waiting for lunch, etc.

they are cool and let us keep in touch even when we're not at home but they cost alot of $
