Oh boy the gay marriage thing again, a real burning issue these days. Are those my only two choices? Now lets see ... to ALLOW implies its up to me. Wow, such power, makes me want to pound my chest. And the other choice is to PROTEST. Is that where I get to pout and complain a lot and try to force my will onto others?
I think that I would have been so angry if someone else tried to stop my marriage. I'd got my can of gasoline and done some real burning.

I do not think it should be allowed or protested. Is pre Martial sex protested? Most people don't look at the big picture. A sin is a sin no matter how you look at it! I think pre Martial sex should be illegal, but that won't happen! This is, of course from a Christian standpoint. Satan tempts us all, but those who choose to give in to his temptation are the ones that have sinned. And, who hasn't? Some sins just weigh more heavily than others. If we are going to have laws, I believe they should be more vital than making sure a child molester hasn't had any evidence illegally obtained! I don't think anything should be protested, if people choose to sin they will do so no matter what! The only way to make change happen, is to make change happen! Touch someone's heart, make them "see the light"! All of our sins will be taken care of on judgment day. But remember, in the mean time, it is not our responsibility to judge! God bless all, and have a wonderful day!

I think it should be allowed. We are we to say who someone can or can't marry. You cannot help who you fall in love with. I am a firm believer that the law and religion should be kept separate. Everyone has the right to be happy and if that means marrying someone of the same sex than so be it. We are we to judge.
P.S I am straight and married to a wonderful guy. I have many friends who are homosexual and I want nothing more than for them to be happy and when someone is trying to take that away from them I get very defensive.

I dont think anyone has the right to tell someone who they can and cant marry. Why is it that smoking around kids in public is more acceptable than gay marrige, or a peodophile wandering the streets is more acceptable. Its time the governments and peoples attitudes were more accepting of this. PS I am as straight as they come with a husband and child so I am not being biased in my opinion.

I don't see any reason why it should be protested, unless you are gay yourself you shouldn't have a say either way. It's their lives, it's their love, why should someone who marrys the opposite sex have a say in weather people of the same sex can marry? It's such an aggrivating question I guess. I don't feel that they should be held back just by their sexual orientation.

Who's place is it to judge, we all have to face judgment someday from our own God!! I say live and let live. I don't agree with same sex relationships, but I have never condemned anyone for it. My 17 year old sister in law is gay and I love both her and her girlfriend. It's the person we should look at, not the sexual preference.

I would agree that guy couples have a right to get married. When you deside to get marry, it's because you love your partner and you want to be with him/her and you want to stay with him/her forever and it's not because they are guys and they have their own family. And also, we all dont' have choice. We are born like this. I was born like I am not guy and they were born they are guy. We don't have right to say allow or protest on this topic.

I don't see the problem with it. Who are we to tell someone that they can't. Those who believe it is wrong because the bible says so, they have that right. But the bible doesn't say homosexuality is wrong. It says sodomy is, and you don't have to be gay to do that. Besides, everyone will be judged when their time comes, and that should be good enough.
