That's part of it Hun, if your married and working you should help out with the money situation in the home... It's what most of us call "being an ADULT". Maybe you can work out a deal to put a percentage into savings each month, but for the most part make sure your bills are all paid first.

If you are not Muslim, then in an equal opportunity marriage you have equal obligation to pay the bills.

My advice is that you should talk to your husband and decide what your roles will be and who will be responsible for what.

Both of you need counseling, he appears to be spender, and you appear to want a financial future. If this can’t be worked out, you should divorce him now before you have any/more children.
