Humans can only discover truth through their fallible sensory organs and their limited intellectual powers. Thus our knowledge is fallible and limited. Humans cannot know absolute truth because knowledge cannot be separated completely from the subjectivity of the knower. Humans can only know truth from particular viewpoints, complete objectivity is not possible.

There are two questions in one here:-
1. Is there absolute truth? There may or may not be, but the philosopher Godel has shown that we can never be sure (because we must make assumptions in order to start thinking).
2. If there is absolute truth, can we know it? Again, we would have difficulty knowing the whole truth. Not least, we would need to know that we know the absolute truth, and we would need to know that we know the absolute truth, and so on for ever (there is an "infinite regress"). However, if there is absolute truth, we might know things that are true within this larger absolute truth. This raises a further issue because we would not be absolutely certain that we know these truths, which requires a definition of truth that does not identify truth with certainty. However, if we do require our truths to be absolutely certain we could not treat anything as true, which would make practical life impossible.
Sorry if this answer is rather opaque. That's because you have asked a hard question.

No. We perceive everything in a subjective way. Besides there are as many truths as there are things, e.g. it is true that my sofa exists. Which of these truths is 'the absolute truth"?
Oh and to paraphrase Douglas Adams, "There is a theory that If anyone where to know both the answer and the question to life, the universe and everything, the universe would immediately vanish to be replaced by something even more incomprehensible."

Absolute truth cannot be defined in absolute terms. It is subjective and carry different meaning to different people. Lets make it simpler- a belief which you carry today as absolute truth may not be the same after certain lapse of time as you have experienced things against that. It's all in minds. One absolute truth which we all believe is- there must be a super power which is governing our universe by large!

Of course there's absolute truth, but if somebody could show the absolute truth, others would still probably see it as a lie because many are blind to the truth and only see what they want to

There are lots of absolute truths, and they are not subjective. Math and science have lots of absolute truths and they are found in their laws (i.e. law of thermal dynamics, laws of motion, laws of gravitational force, etc.). These laws have been proven and proven again, therefore absolute.
When it comes to morallity and such, truth must therefore be placed in faith on a separate power that is above the confines of man to be absolute. My beliefs are based in the Word of God, the Bible, so therefore I can take hold of absolute truth. The Bible was true thousands of years ago and holds true today and has NEVER been disproven in any way. The more scholars try to disprove it, the more they come to know that it is true. Only those that are ignorant to its teachings can truelly disregard it as not being true. If you want to try and prove me wrong, I challenge you to try and disprove it. Many have tried for centuries and ALL have failed. Problem is, people would rather not be confined to absolute truths so that they can justify their actions to do as they please.

Truth is a subjective thing, what do you mean by absolute? We all put our own spin on the truth of any event, this forces me to say that truth is a collective agreement about the events that occured.

THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH IS ONLY FOUND IN THE BIBLE AND WE AS HUMAN BIENGS CAN BE IN HOLD OF THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH IF WE SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES AND LIVE ACCORDING TO THE STATUTES OF THE LORD.HISTORICALLY THE TRUTH ISUNKNOWABLE AND HISTORY IS ONLY AN ATTEMPT TO RECONSTRUCT THE PAST AND THIS EXERCISE IS WHAT TAINTS THE PAST AND MAKES IT A VERY SUBJECTIVE EXERCISE .THE WORD OF GOD IS THE TRUTH.

Absolute truth is a concept of the Heavens.
Humans seek it but never find it.
You can achieve absolution if that is what you desire but there are only two ways the path of good and the path of evil.
To follow the path of good take religion and embrace it and live a life of virtue.
To take the path of evil to achieve absolution you have to sell your soul. [it is possible if and only if you are serious; if you are jsut joking around it does not work]

Only if it is revealed to them. But of course, this is already religion. Neither philosophy, nor science can reach absolute truth, and than I wonder how come we got stuck with this concept?? And again, of course, in religious faith there is absolute truth, and God can reveal it to humans.
