BOLLYWOOD is referred to as , The the Hindi film industry of India , B is for Bombay.
As far as the question is concerned , its not like every actors takes part in politics but yes there are many who have taken are taking it .
In my opinion , its because they have tried their hands in acting , now they want to explore the field of politics , we have seen that they have not made major contributions to politics , Maybe its just another way of staying in the limelight ......perhaps?

I guess that if all they've ever done is acting it would be difficult for them to go and work in a different environment like an office, a store, or a workshop. They'd be stared at or talked about all the time. I don't think politicians care about movies or actors that much...and It seems like the role in politics is a lot like a role in a movie anyway. Some politicians haven't got a clue about anything - it's all an act!

:-D Bollywood? (kiddin) I suspect one reason is that they start craving the attention they had as celebrities. Limelight I suspect is as addictive as heroin. It's easy for em to bellyache about no privacy till nobody's paying em any mind. The other part might be due to the guilt many wealthy feal about their privaledge. Politics, and charity seem to be a popular way for them to "justify" all that they have.

They have had so many people telling them how smart and wonderful they are that they eventually believe it. So a role in politics seems logical to them. Plus it's another way to keep themselves in the limelight when their careers wane.
