any subject can be tough. it depends on your strengths and weaknesses. for me, history is the toughest subject. but if biology is hard for you, you could try using flashcards and drawing diagrams. i am a bio major and i know it really helped. its easier to remember pictures than words.

That's exactly the same mentality that is going on in my school. Most of them hardly scrap a pass but I did get As whenever an exam crops up. So I told them: Physics and Chemistry are the toughest, not Biology. Then they started to tell me, there's a problem with the all the Biology teachers at school. They're sadistic, they like dissecting frogs and rabbits, drawing blood out from horseshoe crabs. Perhaps the teacher might be a problem, but it mainly depends on your mindset. Try to get yourself interested in it, but if you can't, make plans to score well in it and give it up totally when you get the chance. I never liked Math, I plan to give it up in University. Nevertheless, when the class scored a straight C, the teacher requested that we find our perfect way of studying from the methods below.

1) Try to design flash cards, where each one of them has its own category.
2) On a piece of Paper, draw out mind-maps, and remember the number of branches that branches out from the root. That did help you remember the number of points required for the exam and perhaps boost your memory.
3) Draft out a comparison table: eukaryotes and prokaryotes...differences and similarities between the 5 kingdoms...

Visualization is always better than a whole chunk of notes without diagrams.

For me, the best method is categorizing by listing.

no. in highschool it is sophmore technology./freshman. right here in hawaii at my college the toughest situation we've been given is botony. many idiots think of it is going to manage weed/marijuana even yet it would not and usually they the two drop out the 1st week or fail. I particularly have heard from those that it particularly is a demanding situation. im hoping to take this course this semester or next semester. the learn of flowers will benefit me in my culinary significant.

Lots of difficult words, lots of logical things, need to have lots of common sense....

But I still like it the most, rather than chemistry and physics, cos biology is learn about something living!
