I would suggest the "Gaitey Theatre" at St Stephen's Green. It's got about 4 dance floors/rooms and when you're all danced out, you can chill in the main auditorium where they show black-and-white films. It's one of the few clubs in which you don't feel like a granny and it's got style. However it costs about € 15 in.

They are in "their" thirties please!!! You're killing me with your spelling. ;)

Yes the Gaiety is good, they have live music on two floors a cinema on another and many many rooms to dance. There are a couple of bars in the place as well.

The music is diverse with the band generally playing covers and famous songs. Sometimes there are salsa nights, ska nights and crooner nights.

The crowd are usually in their late twenties and thirties and it stays open until the small hours of the morning - around 4am I think.

go have fun!

ri ra is a good club:
On Monday night you can catch one of Dublin's longest running nights, the infamous Strictly Handbag. Tuesday nights sports a heady brand of Funk, Latino and Hip Hop and every Wednesday night you can get on down to the Breakbeats, R&B and Soul of U-Turn.
You can keep it Ol Skool with a mix of vintage Funk, and contemporary and classic Hip Hop with Funk Off on Thursday nights. And Friday nights is Guest Nite with everything from Hip Hop, Soul and Funk featuring regular guests ChoiceCuts, Donal Dineen, Andy Smith and Mark Rae.
You can finish your week of clubbing hedonism with an infectious brew of Soul, Funk and Hip-Hop with Double Trouble on Saturday nights.
With The Globe opening up as a chill out zone, you can either relax over a pint and soak up some funky vibes or get on the dancefloor and boogie the night the way.
