im a "foreign" woman, about to marry an american man. we've lived together almost 3 years, and are expecting our first child together later this year. he says that im MUCH nicer than american women, who are obsessed with themselves and what the man can do or buy for them. he also says they act like their private parts are made of gold and lined with mink for all thework you have to put in to get near them, and when you do, you have to spend hours praising the woman about how fabulous she is, when all you want to do is sleep!. from what ive seen of american woman i tend to agree for the most part. whatever happened to looking after a man, and he'll look after you?. there doesn't sem to be alot of nurturing on the womenspart, just "gimme gimme".
I think marriages between different nationalities are great.

In America for domestic couples the divorce rate is 53%. Foriegn marriages are 9%. So in the United States, they are very successful. I think this is mostly due to feminism turning women into bitches and men going overseas to find women that cherish them. I know all my friends (good looking, educated, mid-20's) have happy marriages. (Most foriegn marriage occur between American men and foriegn women). They have had lots of American women but they didn't want to be thought of as the lawn mower, errand boy.

Unless it’s very different, there is no problem, I guess. My girlfriend and I have a lot of fun because of our cultural differences. Problems only occur if they are fundamnetal and contradictory... For example, I can hardly imagine the marriage of a U. S. Christian man and an Iraqi Muslim woman.

why not? The differences should accent the relationship. Just be honest and respect each other.
