British & German cars have the best build quality.
Japanese are pretty reliable too & make the best technology-wise.
The French make good handling shopping trolleys, but they're too fragile.
Italian cars have traditionally had a reputation for electrical problems & going rusty (but have bullet proof engines that sound great)..... Lancia's reputation gained in the 1970's / Early 1980's practically drove them out of the UK by around 1993/94.
Korean cars...... traditionally have been crap (e.g. narrow, uncomfortable seats)......... though my cousin's KIA SORENTO felt as well screwed together as a V-Class Mercedes I rode in back in 1999.
Americans used to make decent cars back in the original Muscle car era....... but things kinda went downhill in the 1970's to mid-1990's, but started coming not too bad again with the last two Corvette's, and the 4th Generation Pontiac Firebird..... latest Mustang seems to have sent things downhill again judging by a review by Jeremy Clarkson: http://driving.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,12529-1794313,00.html

Italian cars look very stylish, attractive, and fast. Unfortunately they are unreliable and chaotic to handle. Not to mention the engineering still lags behind German car engineering, let alone Japanese car engineering.
German cars are very luxurious, comfortable, and compact built. Unfortunately, they are expensive to maintain and buy. Not to mention their engines rather too complicated to handle.
Japanese cars are most reliable, the easiest to handle, and the most lasting. Unfortunately, the car design often looks kind of bland or boring (except for some of Honda or Subaru cars' design).
American cars are the toughest, the strongest, and the most solid. Unfortunately, they are wasteful of fuel and not very environmental friendly (except for Tesla cars, which is more environmental friendly).
British cars are elegant, sleek, and comfortable. Unfortunately, they are not very reliable and almost always facing electrical problems.
French cars are comfortable and unique looking. Unfortunately, they are not very reliable and the engines are too rough. And I also don't really the cars handling, particularly Renault cars.
Korean cars were used to be not very good in quality, but nowadays they are improving a lot (especially on the terms of reliability and quality). Hyundai and KIA are the most significant examples of Korean cars improvement on quality and reliability. Unfortunately, I find most Korean cars design to be kind of peculiar looking and the engines still a bit stiff to handle.

On it is hard to say who is the best, but you can say whats best in each of them like British with their Aston Martin DB9,Bmw M5 all James Bonds cars, Italians with their Ital-Designs, American muscle, Australians with their Heritage Porsche Carreras and Boxters.

It depends on the owner. All of them are making the best cars with high techs, good qualities, and beautiful designs!
I'm very interested in these cars;
1. A well-shaped car, a batman's, his own car :-)
You can fly high in a three-way intersection lol.
2. A safety car with a solar heating system, with low price :)
