Improving your memorising really depends on what kind of learner you are..
- If you are visual you need to associate things with images or set them out in a way that is easy for you to understand. You can work on your visual memory by drawing diagrams, staring at them for a while, then re-drawing the diagram on a blank page until you remember the whole thing. This helped me with a lot of biochemistry exam questions!
- If you're an audio learner, you need to hear what you're trying to learn. You can do this by recording your voice reciting what you need to learn or by telling someone else what you need to remember (even if it's an inanimate object or a pet, it actually works).
- If you learn by actually doing things, then the best way is to write out what you need to learn and keep on writing until you remember.
As for help with getting extra marks in exams, the best method is to start with the questions you know you can answer easily first. Then if you hit a question that is taking you too long, leave it and then come back to it later. And if there's something you don't remember as a part of a question, at least attempt to answer what you can because you can grab extra marks without answering the whole question.
Good luck! :)

Memorizing problem eh? You must first know what type of learner you are, or you can use post-its and post them somewhere you will always see them. You could also sing what you're memorizing - songs are easier to memorize, You could also make a story about that thing you're memorizing or maybe device a mnemonics. Oh and don't cram

This probably won't help you but I find it easier just to rember the first letter of some things. I too am in school and when I take quizzes I rember the answer after I see it on the test and know that that's the answer because I know the first letter.
Another thing you can do you think of what that thing reminds you of. it's hard to explain... good luck

-Study in 15min intervals especially when reading notes. You don't have to completely stop just switch topics. But still take many breaks.
-Use the table of contents in your text books along with exam info the teacher provides to organize and break down what you are going to study into smaller, manageable parts before you start studying.
-Let's say you're learning how the cell travels through the body. You could pick a song and change the words to the pathway of a cell. Then sing sing sing it over and over. Or if you had a list of things, like the planets. you could take the first letter of each planet and come up with a sentence with each of the letters and repeat the sentence over and over. Make sure to write out a smaller version of your notes over and over using shorthand as you go on. It sinks in while you write as opposed to just looking.
good luck!

Upgrade your brain like 80GB hardisk to 160GB HardDisk. Increase your processor speed of your Nureon.
So, eat up vegetables and vitamin based foods. Drink horlicks or eat Milks, eggs. Then use energy in studying and do not waste it in playing games and reading comic books.
