Okay, let's say they do ban gay marriage an make homosexuality illegal, (neither are for me, by the way), then what is next? Which little indecretion might we all be doing that one day may become illegal. Be careful of what you ask for. Besides, doesnt everyone have way too much to do to worry about what, how we have sex and who is doing who?

Is everyone out there as bigoted as some of these comments show? Where are the people who are true Christians that may not agree with the lifestyle but believe in free will? If those of you that made these comments that are so inflammatory about gays are what America has come to, we are in worse shape than I could have ever imagined.

Wow. The question contained the answer that I would have wrote. Look up the Ben Franklin quote about Liberty. That says it all.

Gay marriage is already actually banned. There are a few states who are trying to make it legal, which has prompted the desire for a federal-level ban. States currently have the right to make their own laws regarding marriage.
But gay marriage has always been illegal and still is. There have also been many anti-sodomy laws on the books, most of which are now being taken off.

There is no such thing as "Gay Marriage" Marriage, by definition, is between a man and a woman. Whether homosexuality will be illegal or not, does not change the fact that it is sinful. Just because you may not believe in God's word, does not mean it does not exist or that His will, will not ultimately be completed.

Being Queer will remain legal the amendment is about DEFINITION. Man and Woman=Marriage other lifestyles can call it what ever they want except Marriage. There have been states that voted in favor by Majority that this is so. A judge said no violating the PEOPLES Will.

The reason people oppose gay marriage is because it's immoral. It's just ridiculous to reinvent society, to accommodate their fancy. Gays are not interested in marriage. This is a trophy issue for them. Gays want to swap partners and live in promiscuity. Why would they want gay marriage? Few want this. It's only a trophy issue for them and they are willing to put society in the straights in order to get this trophy. The gay movement does not care about society. Only their sexual organs.
