I think all this will happen cause Smack down will be canceled split those stars between Raw and ECW and get more for HHH/CENA the two biggest of the names to fight.

I would like to add something to your suggestion-
The new DX attack Rick Flair. He decides to reform the 4 horsemen. Then DX and the 4 horsemen go to war against each other.
DX members- HHH, HBK, Test &Shelton Benjamin (you cant have Edge on the team because you have 3 main eventors on the same team). With Candice Michele.
4 hourseman- Randy Orton, Edge, Chris Benoit and Kane. With Lita.

DX was great not just for wrestling ability, but for the pranks they pulled on WCW, turban-wearing NY taxi drivers, midgets, you get the idea. They made wrestling fun. Usually you would tune in to RAW just to see what crazy crap they would pull that week, you didn't even care about wrestling matches.
Unfortunately, with the exception of 2 original DX members, the WWE doesn't have the talent to match the DX of old. I'd like to see a DX made up of HHH, HBK, Ric Flair (although he should have retired 10 years ago), Trish Stratus, and bring back Chris Jericho. Jericho could provide the fun that just seems to be missing from watching the new "boring-*** clown" wrestling we've become used to watching.

There will certainly a revival of DX, (its pretty obvious, we've seen it at Wrestlemania 22, with both HBK & Triple H reliving the "suck it" body move.
You're idea of a new DX Team (minus Edge) ain't that bad at all, imagine reliving the reunion of HBK & Triple H plus The Champ John Cena, and my hunch is it would be against the Chairman, his son and that stupid lousy Spirit Squad..

I think they should not bring back DX. After what happened when the nWo was brought back, people should realize it will never be the same, magic that cannot be recaptured. DX happened during a great time for the business, and I really wish fans would leave well enough alone and move on.
