download Ccleaner.exe from doing a search for Ccleaner.com. Save it to your harddrive, and run it. It is the best free utility out there!! It will clean up cookies, registry and many other problems.

windows xp:

right click on the taskbar (usually blue, its the bar at the bottom of your screen next to start)

click properties

click on classic start menu

click on customize

click on the clear button

CANCEL out of everything unless you want to keep the classic start menu.

If you use any program to do this, be careful.........most have adware/spyware and other things.

zombie is right, but this way It clears the whole windows system
