To Ashley - of course things change, but I believe that it is wrong to discriminate, and telling us we cannot fly flags to support our own country in our own country is verging on dictatorship. Why should it offend anyone else, the rest of the world can fly there flags, and even do it in other peoples countries, so what is the problem with the English doing it.
You clearly do not understand the issue in England, and as you are an Australian I can understand your naive response to a perfectly feasible question.

Yes indeed, due to the worse of England ie our football hoogians. Normal royal English men and woman can no longer fly our flags, on just fine days as Saint Georges's day or may bank holidays in case it upsets our coloured non-English niebours. But its ok for to wave the Welsh, Scotish, and Irish flag.

God bless Queen and Country!!!!!

England has lost its' style.

The definition of what it feels like to be English has changed.

The English will always be English.

Cultural groups evolve over time, all the time, so, really - your question is absurd.
