I apologize for the misspelling when I first asked the question. I also would like very
to know the side effect of this drug.

everyones body reacts to things in different ways. I personally love it when it comes time to giving birth. But the side affects can be lethal. The worst is if they miss the spot you can be paralized so hold still no matter what. Another is getting itchy, for me it was my chin and neck area.It takes a total of 24 hrs to gain feeling back into your legs and below where they injected you.Like I said everyones different so ask your dr. when it comes time

i had an epidural for my childbirth. it was the best thing ever and a good thing too, after 19 hrs. off pitocin induced labor and 2 hrs. of pushing i still had a c-section so i was glad i had it. i had no side effects other than a back ache for a couple of days. i work in the healthcare field and i am a strong believer in if it is there to help you and people have been doing if for years, don't be super woman be easy on yourself. if it is for childbirth, you are doing something incredibly painful and amazing as it is don't worry about asking for help.

didn't help at all. won't ever go through that procedure again. You can get an extreme migrane just from the procedure. can't offer any info on the side effect of the drug. sorry. good luck.
