I am deeply in love with this man, he says he is coming here to marry me and he needs money to leave Africa he wants his brother to deposit in my bank account should I give him my # .Im really freaking out over this.I love him but Im afraid it might be a scam I need some help, feedback on this.I told him to get a friend or sister in law to do this for him and he just keeps saying you dont trust me .I do but I am afraid.What should I do???

It's a scam. One tried to do the same to me. Look under yahoo!groups under "Romance Scams". Beleive it or not, it is a scam. There is a Nigerian one and a Russian one.

You can also do a regular search on your computer by typing in "romance scams" and you will find all you need to know. Mine was working in Africa at the time and needed money. Within a few short emails he declared his love for me. He sent a pic and I found it on a models website thanks to the support of the yahoo!romancescams group. It's not his pic, just some models he pulled up. There are support groups for this too. Just please, DONT SEND THE MONEY!

Don't do it ! Scam for sure. It is widely known on the Internet how the operations work. There are many stories out there from people that got robbed blind ! And there have been many reports on TV that shed light on the scams. Don't be the next victim

dont do it, its a scam i recieved 2 letters from this same continent yesterday asking for my bank account and all with a fabricated story about a person who had died and how i might be able to help because of my last name.....with everyone in the world i know i am not the only one in the world that shares my surname, this guy has sent the same email to others with my last name in the hopes that someone who provide their bank account so they could get rich off someone. listen to your intuition, it is there for a reason it is telling you that something is not right....it is better to be safe than sorry.....

Don't do it. It's absolutely a scam. I believe I actually saw a 60 minutes episode about this particular scam.

Don't do it. Every African guy I have met online pull that same scam. You give him your bank account number and you will never see him or your money again.

its ok that u luv him but this world is not for blind faith.u ask him if he luvs u and have faith in u then do this work through some relative...tell him that right now he only owes ur heart,to have full acces on u,make u his bride then u fully belong to him....wt is urs will belong to him...... But right now dont do this plzzzz.....

dont do it. i live in africa am a lady i know them thats how they operete.its unfortunate but what to do. if he wants to come let him come on his own. ua money has nothing to do with him...... that little thief!!
