Step 1 - Drink one gallon of water a day

Step 2 - Put your soap in the shower. Only use a moisturizing bar like Dove on your face, and never scrub. Soap strips your skin of essential oils. It might sound like what you want to do, but what happens is that your skin reacts as if it is dry skin and retaliates by producing more oils than necessary.

Step 3 - No matter how late you go to bed ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS wash your face before you go to bed. By the same token wash your face first thing in the morning. - Did you know that a typical adult human sweats about 1/4 cup of sweat into their pillows a year. Most of it will evaporate, but some will mingle with the dead skin cells that come off you at night as well. It's disgusting I know...

Step 4 -If you wear make-up, remove it.

Step 5 - use a water based moisturizer for your skin every day.

Step 6 - If you want to wear make-up, make sure it's hypo-allergenic and non-communogenic.

I hope this helps.

Have you tried using a microdermabrasion? It is a process in which the outermost surface of the skin is partially or completely removed by light abrasion. Different methods include mechanical abrasion from jets of zinc or aluminum oxide crystals, or a roughened surface. Particles and removed material are usually suctioned off using a small vacuum attached to a wand. Microdermabrasion is used to remove sun-damaged skin and to remove or lessen scars and dark spots on the skin. The procedure is not painful and requires no anaesthetic. Microdermabrasion can be used medically for scar removal when the scar is raised above the surrounding skin, but is less effective with sunken scars. Microdermabrasion can also be used for treatment of acne, but must be repeated periodically to be effective.

In the past, microdermabrasion was done using abrasive crystal. In the past decade, it has become more common to use a wand with a roughened surface. This procedure requires no medical oversight and is commonly used in conjuction with facial spa treatments. You can also buy the product at a local drug store such as, Longs Drugs, or at a local retailer like, Target. They run about 30 bucks to about 100, but average around 35.

Try it!!

going to bed late does not cause pimples. You need to cleanse and tone your skin before sleep as this is when your skin regenerates. Never go to bed wearing make up as this turns oily and causes pimples. Once your skin is looking less blemished use a home dermabrasion kit (Roc do a good one) to smooth any scars but follow the instructions carefully and do not leave on more then the recommended time.

I'm a teenager and I still don't have any pimples yet. This is what I did,
1. I eat fruits like green apples and green grapes, they're the best. 2.Drink a lot of milk,
3.Use 2 different kind of Apricot and rub it in my face.
4. I also exercise.
5. I stop eating sugar and junk, eat it once in a while is okay.
6. Go shopping and buy a pimple remover, works on my sister.

Good luck

Touch the pimples with spirit of camphor. Keep applying until the pimples dry up. It may "sting" but don't worry. It will check the infection. ..........
To lighten scars you could try doing tis:
Take 1 bunch of green grapes, moisten with water and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon alum and 1 teaspoon salt. Wrap grapes in foil and bake in slow oven for 15 minutes. Squeeze the juice of grapes and cover face with the liquid, rinse off after 15 minutes with lukewarm water. Use an Ice Pack regularly, wrap ice cubes in a bit of cloth or cotton and applies to the open pore areas. This helps diminish enlarged pores

Maybe you should invest in some facial cleansing cloths that are pre-moistened. Keep them by your bed and make sure that you use one before you fall asleep. You can also try to use those oil absorbing sheets by biore' i think. they sell them at places like walmart. You can use them during the day to blot away any oil on your face.
Anyways, dont let it get you down. Your face can get better and the scars will fade and may go away completely, it will just take a little time.
Dont let it discourage you though, just keep thinking positively and encourage yourself to continue to care for your skin-to make it a priority and with that positive outlook in mind you will not have low self esteem

Doesn't matter what time u go to bed, just make sure to wash B4 bed, period! Acne is a bacterial infection of the hair follicle, so don't leave it sitting on your skin when you go to sleep.
Proactiv works very well, I have studied the ingredient list and many of my clients swear by it.
Also, go get a professional treatment every spring, this is when the sebum (oil) production is at it greatest and skin goes crazy with breakouts. Ask the esthetician for advice, ask her to use the high frequency machine to clear up acne and get rid of the purple spots. Scars will happen when you pick, so don't.

Best way to aceieve a smooth and blemish free face is to make sure you wash your face really good. There are special soaps out there that will help in this situation.

I have acne/pimples too. I have a solution that will help you, but not fully. I put toothpaste on my acne/pimples before I go to sleep. When I wake up some of the acne/pimples are gone, because toothpaste dries out your face. I also dry my oily face by using a dry towel or napkin. I hope this info. is helpfull.

Vitamin E oil helps very well with healing scars. As far as keeping blemishes away, I highly recommend a daily regimen of Proactiv solution or something that works similarly - it has worked wonders for me!
