To save everyone time in trying to figure out what i might like here is a list of moivies i absoluitely loved watching. Although i love all kinds of genres right now i am in a mood for a smart drama/thriller...Here is my list of fav films (in no particular order):

1. Forrest Gump
2. Color Purple
3. Shawshank Redemption
4. The Beast
5. Dances with Wolves
6. Good Fellas
7. Schindler's List
8. The Professional/Leon (3hr Directors' Cut -- totally diff film)
9. Total Recall
10. Die Hard 1
11. 2001- Space Odyssey
12. Solaris (the Steven Sodenburg U.S. version)

So based on those 12 films i absolutely love can someone recommend what other films i might enjoy?

The Godfather- another mob movie-IMO better than Goodfellas
Full Metal Jacket- also by Kubrick
Star Wars
Rocky
Citizen Kane-- #1 according to AFI.

Sphere, the relic, the davinchi code, the omen, lara croft tomb raider, and try jumanji and Pirates of the caribaen, For some reason I think you'd like them.

Have you seen cellular with Kim Baysinger it was really a great and intense movie. Better then we thought it was going to be. Not alot of talk about it for sure

No way out is another older one that's good.

Constantine, Cry Wolf, Amytiville Horror, Lord of War, Wheather Man, IRobot, Into the Blue, Dumb and Dumber, Rat Race, Armaggeddon... those are just SOME of my favorite movies. i don't know if any of them relate to the one's you would like. hope this helps...

hmm i would try the tomas crown affiar or for some thing a little more fast paced i hear "the red eye" was good although i cant confirm that myself and last but not least "cindarella man" was a good drama.
