Technically, "anorexic" or "anorectic" just means "lacking appetite". In other words, if someone is anorexic, they don't feel like eating. So, depending on context, possible synonyms include the phrase "lacking appetite", the adjective "satiated" or the neologism "appetiteless".

I accept as true with a number of your factors. i think the reason to the different intense is to attempt to allow human beings to be mushy with their very own bodyweight, no count if it is skinny or 'obese'. i do no longer see that the media is forcing this image on us, as I see many diverse physique kinds in the media although (the two skinny and curvy) and that i see this as a solid situation as there is plenty greater type than purely the thin fashions. i think it particularly is because of the fact we are so used to seeing the thin ones that it sort of sounds like we are being compelled to settle for this image, whilst surely, skinny fashions do nonetheless exist. That pronounced, I do have faith that the notice 'anorexic' is thrown around too plenty. you're able to desire to have a intense sickness to be seen anorexic, no longer basically certainly skinny. i do no longer evaluate your weight to be unnatractive to adult males in any respect! in the tip all of it boils all the way down to non-public decision and individual wellness. as long as you're healthy, that's what counts! do no longer pay attention to those who say 'adult adult males do in comparison to that', whilst you evaluate that kind of situation is crap. i be attentive to many adult adult males who might like that or no longer particularly care relating to the burden of their companion! So there you circulate. wish that facilitates!

....just use anorexic and get it over with. it's not your duty to not offend people, it's the person's duty not to take offense to every big word they hear. if they dont like anorexic, they should know that they're not being forced to listen to it.
