i'm the administrator and the guest is turned off, so how is my wife getting into my pc and eliminating my password? its driving me nuts!

she obviously knows the password or is a good guesser.
you could try buying a Security Key..its a small flash drive that plugs into a usb port and when removed no one can access your hard drive...very popular gadgets in big offices for eg where it is too hard to shut down your pc whilst just popping away for a few minutes and you dont want others snooping in your pc.
The one we sell is called the T3 Security Key and retails for about $65 in Australia..see the link for the product below.
We also use the key to block off access to parts of the hard drive..when the key is removed the blocked folders etc are not even visible..keeps the kids out of our business folders etc

She either knows the password, or she used the hint to guess the password.
Change the password. But if she is ur wife....what r u trying to hide?

I do not believe she's dishonest. Since she works in a dentist workplace, she's more commonly simply giving them a few form of oral presentation. Maybe she's giving them dental classes, and she or he's displaying them the best way to probe her mouth with a few form of lengthy probing device. I'm definite she simply closes the door so she does not hassle you with the entire noise they are making in there.

She's a smart girl. You should be proud of her.
I don't know how to do it ('cause i never tried) but i heard about a floppy disk which you let it in the drive when windows boots and you'll be granted full acces.

just do one thing go to start run syskey.exe file and update and enter password then she will never go to your account
start>>>run>>>syskey.exe>>>update >>>> use password
