Well, that scenario is a theme that runs throughout my family...I'm not sure why.

My mom is married to a man 8 years younger.
I'm married to a man 2.5 years younger
Except for one of my mother's sisters, all of the other 3 are either married to or dating younger men.

Also,
My father is married to a woman about 13 years younger.
My brother is married to a woman about 4 years younger.

I'm not sure why this has become this way in my family.

It used to bother me when my husband first expressed interest in me because I viewed him as a little brother. But, obviously, I overcame that fear. He's a very mature and responsible person and has always been a good friend to me, even when I rejected his first attemptS at getting me to go out with him.
His incredible ability to just be a good kind and generous friend to me is what made me fall in love with him and forget about the age thing.
Prior to dating me (we were both in our 20's), he was seeing a 40 something woman, and that did bother me...but he decided on his own that he didn't want to stay in that relationship because he wasn't comfortable with the age difference after having dated her for a while and seeing some things that he didn't like.

Assuming you are speaking of sexual compatability.....It depens entirely on the ages.....a 25 yr old man and a 45 yr old woman are sexually compatable......however the same man at age 45 is still VERY sexually active and very few 65 year old women are. It is however a worthwhile learning experience for most young men.

If your curiosity is other than sexual compatability then the younger they both are the close the gap needs to be to insure common interests and stimulating conversation!

well its how old women are and how young the male are. i like older women myself to tell u the truth, i'm 20 soon, and i like women around 25 24 23 or 22 if only she understand love. older women for me intrest because they mostly understand love and they can tell how love works and how love feels, not like teenager when they are little kids and male have to play games with them and yet after that they will have problem anyways and one way or anther way they have to leave each other. that why i like older women, because they more understand love.

Sounds like a plan. I am 26 he is 24. Works for me. Older men try to run things too much and they act old.

I am with an older woman, she is the most exciting and the most loving woman i've ever had the pleasure of knowing, so long as you are happy nothing else should matter. only you would know if what you want, is truly what you want.
