When you're younger, every experience is new. As you age, the feeling of sameness sets in.
It's like when you travel in a foreign country--everything is brand new and interesting, and the days last forever (and you get exhausted trying to absorb everything you've seen, heard, tasted, learned).

...I LOVE THAT QUESTION..
I WANT TO KNOW TOO, WHEN I WAS YOUNG ,, A KID THERE WERE RESTRICTIONS, RULES, COULDNT WAIT TO LEAVE HOME, GET LICENSE,
COULDNT WAIT TO BE BIG 21, WOW,,, I CAN BUY ALCOHOL, AND THEN]WHEN IT WAS NOT WAITING FOR ANYTHING (but a baby to be born) IT WAS MORE RESPONSIBILITY,, AND THEN VERY BUSY AND DAYS GO AND COME FASTER.. ONCE I WAS 21,, THEN HIT 30-- WHEN FORTY CAME, I FEEL LIKE I AM IN A VERY FAST TIME MACHINE,...I REALIZE THINGS THAT I CAN NOT PUT INTO WORDS, AND I AM SORRY FOR SO MANY BAD CHOICES... THE TIME IS AMAZING, THERE MUST BE A REASON WE ARE TO THINK ON THIS, MAYBE A HINT FROM OUTSIDE POWER SAYING "use it before you lose it" SO MANY MAYBES, HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YHOIU HEARD AS A KID,, "IF I KNEW AT YOUR AGE WHAT I KNOW NOW" i would do things diffeerent,,,,,,,,,,,
if you want to slow down time i know a certains FOOL PROOF WAY,,,]
(GO ON A DIET) times goes by so miserably so when you push away yummy food and waiting for the reward of a bettter body.. IT GOES BY SLOW

IT IS KNOWN AS THE RELATIVE TIME EXPERIENCE SYNDROME---when you are young--each unit of time is a much greater percentage of your life experience than when you are older---for instance---to a child of say five years an hour is considerably more of their life than someone say fifty---SO an hour is much greater time frame of reference for a five year old--That is why a trip of say two hours is like an around the world cruise to a youngster and the elderly refer to a year as just flying by-----Hope this helps-----------Larry J7

That's what's called "God's sick joke." Sort of like only realizing a mistake's been made after it's too late.
Man, that Guy's a real prankster, huh?

Each day is a smaller percent of the total number of days we've lived.

When you are ten years old, a year is one tenth of your life.
When you are thirty, one tenth of your life is three years.
That's why.
