The DeMoivre Laplace theorem is a particular case of the Central Limit Theorem.... it easier to prove the CLT with advanced probability than to prove DMLT.

Both of the proofs and in Durret: "Probability Theory and its applications", and also in Protter and Jacod: "Probability Essentials"
