A lot of us think Answers has lost what brought us here in the first place.
It used to be fun, it used to be light hearted.
Now things have changed. If you don't see it you might want to open your eyes.
If this is how it's going to be then this will be the end of my time in this place.
So the question is, How do you feel about Answers now?
Yes it's their site but it is the people in this site (us) that make it.
Without us then this would be nothing.

I agree with you. It's not the same anymore. I've been coming to Answers for 6 months and it used to always be fun to me. Now it's just kind of blah. People are being too critical of every little thing. It's not what it used to be but that has a lot to do with the people who are on it.

i know what you mean. i think these people think you are referring to pedophiles & such.
i think you're thinking about how boring it really is getting. the pulling of good questions & answers. the "fun" of it all. the spontaneous good times. the "laugh out loud" of it all. i used to think this was a great site to have a little fun...not hurt anyone, but just put smiles on people's faces. everyday life is a dread...come here & make people a little more happy. but, they don't want that! they are super serious...and sure you have the people who say that's how it's supposed to be. then why even have a joke & riddle section? That certainly isn't a question! that's having fun! if people don't like a question or an answer, and if it isn't downright rude or hurtful to someone, why not just move on?? why take the time to hit the report abuse button? because you had a bad day..and you're going to feel better ruining someone else's day? please! find something better to do with your time! and, if you don't like something that's not profanity or rude or hurtful, instead of hitting the report abuse button, hit the "show me another" button!!!

I think Yahoo answers is always going between a great forum to ask and answer question, and a perverted sex site or platform for conservatives. It like most open forums go through phases of usefulness, and smut.
It's just up to us how much we stand for. We can report questioners,questions, and answers. But generally don't because we don't want to be "annoying" or "Fussy" or "Prudish." or we don't want our next question/answer that is a bit risque to be deleted.
It's all up to us really.

It may have changed, but it's still great. There may be people asking about racism and stuff, but there's nothing wrong with that, its all a part of life, you can't ignore it.

I've only been on since the end of April.....(think they offically gave me the date of May).......
It's "different" yet close enough to the "same"......I'm gonna stick around for awhile................

guess you're right. i remember that there were not as many pervs back then. but now there are retards who ask a lot of questions abt child molestation and rascism and wat not. The worst part is that simply reporting them is not enough
