Conservatives are never given the same consideration and then liberals are quick to say you may not question the icon of faith be it a leader or position and then claim to be a victim.

I have noticed this on occasion. Unfortunately it seems most people get in this state when asked their religious affiliation.

Yes, Liberals (and I'm a proud one) ARE ANGRY nearly all the time! But it's only because of the bloodless, emotionless, conscienceless, pathetic excuses for protoplasm with skin shells, the Cons!! Whatever your ignorant question means by "statist religion" is irrelevant and moronic, because Liberals know that the Constitution advocates the separation of church and state! But the Cons, no matter the issue, have the insanely stupid need to jam their anti-humanist views down everyone's throats!! The president is a liar? That's okay, I still blindly support him! The president can't formulate a coherent sentence without it being written in front of him? That's okay, he's just a "Joe Sixpack", just like my stupid a*s!! The president has internment camps in Guantanamo Bay, similar to Hitler's torture chambers?? That's okay, they're terrorists, and God is on our side!! How ridiculously fu**ing stupid can you get??! It's just like the old joke: How do you know when the president (and other Cons) are lying?? Their lips are moving, and words are coming out!!! I'm sick and tired of the lies and deceit, the immoral war, the lack of help when disaster strikes at home, the rape of the middle class at the expense of those WHO CAN LEAST AFFORD IT!!! My parents have a term for Cons, and it's called "fujigm"s--it stands for "fu*k you jack, I got mine!". What more needs to be said??!!!

To paraphrase the Wikipedia item:

A statist or political religion has many sociological and ideological similarities with religion. Both neo-liberalism and social liberalism can be analyzed as a political religion.

Although a political religion may co-opt existing religious structures or symbolism, it does not itself have any independent spiritual or theocratic elements - it is essentially secular, using religion only for political purposes, if it does not reject religious faith outright.

End paraphrase.

That last bit says a lot about liberals, and explains why they get so pissed off when you call them on it.

I'm a Liberal and I'm not angry at all by your (statist) question! My religous beliefs are based on the idea of ONE REED
which visualized 1500 years ago in the area of Mexica, or Mexico known as Lake Texcoco & Tlaxcala Mountains. I have lived in the United States for 63 years. I left Cholula at the age of 13, but I still practice and see one reed as the spirit in the animals habitating these four lakes.

Liberals are what you call spoiled rotten brats. They can say what ever they want and think that their **** don't stink. They want to spend your money for you because you don't know how to spend it in their minds. Liberals want to take from the rich and give to them selves and make programs for the poor that make them think they are being taken care of. Which they are. They are taken care of to make sure they stay poor because with out the "I hate rich people vote" they have nothing. Now I'm sure some have the best intentions in their hearts, but can't compete with the ones who just want control. And that's all it comes down to is, "Who is in control". Me I want the say in my life, I don't want some beurocrate telling me I'm a victim and should be made at rich companies because they have money and I don't. Well I say I am a victim. A victim of my own making. I'm not rich. That's not the government’s fault that’s my fault I didn't go to college when I should have. I don't want the government hand outs that are designed to keep the minorities poor so that the Dem's actually have someone to vote for them. And these programs are designed for that too. Anyone can prove it them selves. Take a white person and a minority person of the same education level, and see which one gets the "Government Assistance" as they like to call it. I did two of my friends did it one white and one black single moms with 2 kids. The white woman had allot more paperwork to fill out and it took longer for her to get any assistance, which wasn't as much as the black woman got. Republicans aren't perfect either but I will always vote for the party that gives me control over my life and money over a your a victim so give us your money and we will take care of you party.

There is no such amendment bluebonny.

i'm pretty sure that there is an ammendment separating church and state. seriously, it's just ideas anyway...no one KNOWS, there are those who try to SAY they do (christians, and most conservatives) and base it on a book that was written by the hand of man 2 thousand years ago...and then there are those who just search for truth (liberals) because we seek something that the christian faith tries to claim was ment to be denied us from the begining...yes...god wanted us all to be ideots. the fact is, we are trying to develop a way for people with all DIFFERENT kinds of beliefs to coexist. And many of those beliefs were around a heck of a lot longer than christianity. its not about religion, it's about HOW CAN PEOPLE GET ALONG WHILE LIVING TOGETHER....

your question and logic make no sense....

but i must agree with the above comment on anne coulter...

i'm not really a liberal but i'm not really a conservative...both sides swear i'm the other side........ guess i'm 2 all over reasonable

both sides claim victimization not just liberals.....

and this would be better served by calling the sides left and right not liberal and conservative

What is a statist religion? Is it like believing in the state, and its leaders?

Liberals don't have to proove anything about their personal faith to anyone much less a doochbag who most likely voted for the IDIOT we have for president.
