Are you wanting to be an indirect dealer or a sub-dealer? Indirect can be tough, you have to submit a business plan with their guidelines in mind, if your going to sell more than one carrier. they might not let you (some stores like T-mobile will cancel you at anytime just because they like exclusive dealers) I also recommend you have at least $10,000 to play with. Keep in mind these companies pay commissions. you can wait up to 4 months to receive commissions on a phone sale.
For instance your cost on a new Magenta V3 will be $247.00 you have to turn it around and sell it for 99.99 to be competitive, but keep in mind your commissions will vary by the price of the plan, did you get them to purchase insurance, or the data plan... all that counts. Our T-mobile rep says he's seen business' fail in the first 3 months because they were not financially stable until their commissions kicked in...

Make sure you're selling the four top brands mobile phones that is Nokia,Sony Ericsson,Motorola and Samsung.And make sure you're selling mobile phones cheaper than other shops.
