Time? No. Space? Hell no.

Unfortunately, we will never be able to do either of the two. The energy levels in our solar system are what hold our molecules and atoms together. Stray too far and you will find yourself entering a part of the Universe that has a different charge balance, the electrons will begin flying off, and you will start falling to pieces.

Time travel is a concept that everyone can understand so it persists. Any changes that have happened to the matter have already taken place, there's no going back. Just like you can't unburn a match, you can't turn back time.

We already travel through space first off, secondly, time travel is not only possible but you are traveling forward in time as we speak. Time travel into the past is impossible. You could travel into the distant future if you can find a way to put yourself into suspended animation. No need for a special time machine apparatus! For instance, dried shrimp brine will come to life hundreds of years from now the minute they are rehydrated! This is called suspended animation.

Well considering that seconds are ticking by now and I'm moving through my room, I think I am traveling through space and time.

Time is an very interesting factor and vague theories and philosophies makes it unteresting too. We have fixed the time according to the movement of planets...may be sunrise or sunset. But what is happening beyond our sun family...what fixes the time there... There is an interesting story in India...When a man went to Brahma (the god of time) and asked for a favour, which Brahma coulnt accomplish. He asked the man to wait for for him since he wanted to go the toilet and come. The man waited so long and became an old man. For this man the time factor is much more when compared to Brahma...is it not interesting. So everything a man can think of....is possible but it depends on where he was at that time.

Yes, Vicky. Your avatar looks like a man.
If you are in Los Angeles, hypothetically, and fly to japan, don't you think you´re going through the space and time?

yes and yes...

time.. in only one diection (thats happening all the time)

of course it IS theoretically possible for a small particle to travel a small distance the OTHER way in time.. a neutrino is effectively an electron travelling backwards i time, but this is not likely to ever be useful or controllable
