Feeling and doing something about it are two different routes in life that must be addressed. A person who is gay has committed an abomination towards God. That person will have to answer to God on judgment day. Therefore, we should not hate, but try to bring that person closer to God, in hopes, of changing their focus and sexual preferences. That person must accept God and be aware that they are being used by satan. God did not intend for man to love man, nor woman to love woman. We must pray for their mental health. I have noticed that most gay people usually die of a horrible death. Thus, Get right with yourself and snap back to the reality of Man and Woman together with God. As far as finding out if a family member were gay... I say, pray for them. There were three (3) in my family... they have since died, but know that they asked for forgiveness of their sins and are in Heaven now.

I know this sounds like a typical resonse but... I found out my cousin is gay. I say that's his life. He's a nice dude and he is not one to push his lifestyle on me by flaunting it. I don't agree with being gay from both the moral and physical perspective, but as long as I don't have to be exposed to it, I'm okay. If he kissed his partner in public or in front of me, then I'd have problems dealing with it.

Being a gay man myself and having to come out to my family, I would have to say that I would support that person all the way. It is not up to anyone else to live the others lives. BE TRUE TO SELF is the best rule.

I have a feeling my older sister is gay although she hasn't come out & said so but if by age 46 you have gotten married or even dated a man EVER then what?
It doesn't affect my relationship with her as we are not terribly close even though only 1 year difference and live in same town.
It seems to fit her somehow I guess....no one in family has ever questioned her, she only has female friends & has adopted her son.
I have no issue if she is as long as I am not exposed to anything in front of me such as making out or probably even holding hands would make me & others uncomfortable.

I actually have a gay person in my family. He's a 2nd cousin. I don't see him very often. I try not to act any differently around him than I would anyone else.
I think it's not for me to judge them, that's between them & GOD. I don't approve of the gay lifestyle & I do believe that it is wrong, but then again I believe in the BIBLE.

my cousin is gay, we all knew she was but she never came out, but you could only tell. she went an all girls college in san francisco and had a gay flag on her car. one day she brought a "friend" to my grandmas to visit and my mom and aunt went to buy food for everyone. she asked what my cousins girlfriend wanted, got a wierd look and from that point on now its ok to refer to her as gay. i'm cool with it because she's still the same person and we all secretly knew before we could talk about it.
plus - i also like it cause she knows a bunch of policemen (since that's her work and because she is gay she acts like one of the guys) - yummy - i ♥ policemen =)

I wouldn't feel anything. I don't have an opinion or feeling about all the straight people in our family being straight.
