I think the average weight gain is 25 to 35 lb for even the smallest of women due to the fact that the baby, the placenta, and the fluid inside the womb weighs so much by themselves. Your breasts have likely also gottern bigger, account this as well. You're doing fine. : ) No worries.

At 101 I sure hope that you are under 5'3". I am 5'7" and gained 35-40 with 3 babies. I am back to my "normal" weight, however my bodie has never been the same. Flabby boobs, loose butt, and stretched out stomach. Maybe that is a result of 3 kids in a 3 year period. If this is your first, don't be alarmed, the weight will come off and and your body will get back to normal, however, as I had mentioned, I have 3 in a short period of time and am scheduled for a breat augmentation this July . Much needed for me, but that result is totally individual. Best of luck to you and your newborn!

Heck no. Wow! That is really good. My first pregnancy I was at 108 and gained 60lbs. I had a nine lb baby too... but I wouldnt worry. Most of that is baby weight!

With my first I went from 115 to 165.
I suggest you breastfeed after birht. It really helps you get the weight off.
Good luck with the baby!

Nah.....dont worry one bit! I have gained more than taht with each of my pregnancies, and have always lost it. Sounds like you are doing fine. How tall are you?? Your height is always a factor in your weight, too....but you sound fine.
