You can do this at the US Copyright Office. The application is fairly simple & the cost is $30 per application (it will likely rise to $45 by July 1).

This is done through the copyright office in Washington DC. A fee is charged for every submission, but it's a nominal charge, unless you are planning on copyrighting 200 images.
