so few true wildflower colors com paired to the store grown plants of today. when you think wild i see endless waves of gold and yellow california poppy. i see dawns first light on the rich blue mountain lupinus sparkle with dew. the silver shine as the morning sun warms the fields of wild grasses edged with pink dianthus where the mountains become the plains. the orange day lilly lining the back roads of wisconsin. dark plumb iris setosa mixed with the yellow centered, white arctic chrysanthemum along the coast of washington state. the yellow and red yarrow. bright red hollyhock ringing an old barn in Georgia. the woolly blue curls of trichostema. bright purple sage. lily white matillija poppy. pumpkin orange of the lemonade berry. the red huckleberry. purple needle grass and royal blue beard tougne. wild blue shades of ceanothus. shades of green ostrich fern. the yellow, white and blue of the black lily. i gotta stop. i'm getting spring fever again.

i have to say blues/purples are very relaxing looking...easy on the eyes, you know. however, i like the sunflowers and bright yellows/bright reds too. they're so energetic...they add some much desired oomf to the meadows! hehe. :)

i like an assortment,because all different colors ,seem to be more pleasing to the eye!
