No, I don't think homosexuals should have equal rights. I don't support gay marriage, or homosexuality in general. It confuses our children and has a negative impact on society. If God wanted two men or two women to be together, he wouldn't have given men a penis and women a vagina. I'm a firm believer that nobody is born gay, but is either raised or decides to be gay. So I think it is something you can control and if you make the decision to be gay, you shouldn't be demanding equal rights.

I believe in homosexual rights because they are human and just because they do different things in the bedroom doesn't mean that they aren't. To me I feel like it's none of my business unless someone wants to share their sexual life with me. That is the only difference in my eyes. Homosexuals pay their bills, pay thier taxes and **** the same way everyone else does. They can vote for president. They are white men and black women, they are people. There is no reason why they shouldn't be aloud to marry.

The only reason people don't want them to have the same rights or perks as everyone else is just because some people are still under the impression that homosexuality is a disease you can catch.

Sorry I'm writing a book. It's just how I feel. I don't see a problem with it, just like I don't have a problem with people having different views from mine, weather it be about got or the president or homosexuals. If we we're different the world would be so boring.

I think that people have a right to choose their sexuality the same as they choose the way the look, the friends they have and where they live. It is their life and if they are not interfering with other people or being inappropriate in any way, just like the rest of us, they should be treated the same as everyone else.

If two men or two women love each other and want to spend the rest of their life together, why shouldn't they be married? I know that religiously some people find this wrong due to their beliefs, but common law marriages often have nothing to do with religion anyway. They would then have the same rights as other married couples and live just as the rest of us do.

35 years back the conservatives felt that the African americans don't have the voting or personal rights. The progressives believed that the African americans be given the voting and personal rights. Now it is another level - people who lack vision does not agree on this. But people who have known and worked with homosexuals know very well that their lifestlyle is not something they choose. Most are born homosexuals. One of my friends lives with his partner for over 15 years. Now if he dies the estate does not automatically go to his non-working partner. Hence according to me eventhough it need not be called marriage, the country and its laws and tax systems should accept homosexuals.

I dont believe in homosexual rights, just human rights which cover all humans.
Have faith in your God not your Govt.
Jesus said "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's"
Dont let govt mix with religion directly, it always ends bad, example look at the middle east, africa, south east asia.
It is blasphamey to put "In God we trust" on our currency, remember money is the root of all evil.
When people say we need more god in school ask them which one.

I am hispanic and am happy to see the KKK marching down the streets, to see the Neo-Nazi's preaching their hate, and Black Panthers preaching their power, When I see that then I know the system is still working.

I would rather see someone wrapped in the constitution burning the american flag than someone wrapped in the american flag burning the constitution.

People say God hates gays, well what if I went around telling everyone you hated women or men, What if I went around speaking for you, in that case I could lie couldnt I, especially if you werent around to contradict me. Dont you have your own voice?

Keep the Govt out of peoples moral lives, I am straight but not too long ago my marriage to a white woman would have been pretty close to ILLEGAL.

They are human just as we are and they deserve the same rights and treatment everybody else receives. To deny them these rights is not only unethical but goes against everything we are taught in our society; that each person is equal to the next. We can't just pick and choose who gets rights simply because we don't approve of what that person does in their lives. As long as they are productive citizens who are not doing anything illegal, we shouldn't care what they do or who they choose to love.

i dont mind gay people. but a lot of gay people i have met were abusive, psychos and hurtful. and thats when i start hating all of them, stereo typing them. go in the middle east and look at the homosexuals over there, they dont have the right to live with the things they do over there.

its like those kids that were abused as kids are more aggressive than the ones who just want to be gay.

they are americans, and as such they deserve the same rights and privlages as every body else. But of course alot of close minded people like to think that they are better than everybody else so they put down the homosexual population to make themselves feel better. Or you get the religious people who say that god doesn't want it. Well I'll tell you what your not god so stop trying to be, let god worry about his problems any you worrie about yours.
