Yes, if Saddam was the still the president of Iraq then the Iraqi government would have been a whole lot more better.

No. Hussein being gone is about the *only* good thing to come out of the war. As bad as the war and insurgency are, let's not forget that Saddam was a brutal dictator. Shed no tears for Saddam.
However, I do believe that as long as we occupy Iraq, the situation will never be resolved. We've handled things so badly over there I don't see how an all out civil war can be avoided.

Well the muck has hit the fan and now its too late. Best way for US is to go out for some time to the borders of Kuwait and let the Iraqis sort out their own mess. Yes there would be lots of blood bath but in order to form butter we have to churn the milk. The presence of US at the border would ensure that no other outside power try to sneak in the vaccum. It can also act the role of Big Umpire and bomb the party which is becoming too rogue.

I'm not sure if "catching" Iraqi people is the right terminology. I think he would restore order because people there were afraid of him. They aren't afraid of us.
I think when we removed him, it was the worst possible thing we could have done. Wrong person to remove.

things are too far gone. we would be leaving that country in unrest. do not get me wrong, i do not think we should have ever been there in the first place. but all of the institutions that he put in place are gone. also people forget that the only reason the bath party ever took over was due to pressure from the US and great britain. we actually contracted hussein to assasinate the former leader, he failed at that attempt, but later he took over.

umm yeah let me think about that one... um no.
Saddam massacred thousands of innocent people who did nothing but have seperate religious beliefs (something that is a right in this country you are obviously attempting to find a way to hate)
While it may appear to the short-term "visionaries" that things got worse by getting rid of Saddam, the truth is that he was the ringleader of a world of $hit and now we have to clean it up.

That will never happen. We have made a total mess of things now and can't undo it. Saddam was a horrible dictator anyway.

He can't be president again. Because when when he was supporting US he remained president, and when he denied to accept anti-humanity policies of US he was removed

No.
He is insane, and the Western world is the only ones who held him in check after he slaughtered 100,000's of his countrymen.
(kurds)
He would do worse than he did before, because he would think himself invincible.
