I have not worked for a while(over2 years), and now i am wanting to get back to work, I dont have the exact dates of prior jobs i had and i dont want to guesse on a resume or application. Is there a better way than just calling past employers for the info? Something more efficient

You can just write the months and years on your resume, you don't need the exact dates. Your local tax office may have records of the tax slips you and/or your employer filed, but I'm not sure what you'd have to do to gain access to those records.

the guy doing the checking calls the previous employers to ascertain dates of employment, sales, eligibility for rehire, and so on. They call all your references and attempt to confirm all they are in a position to. it would desire to or won't be finished, relies upon on which persons they communicate with at your former jobs, and so on. sure, there are regulations or policies which persons can use to sue the previous employers with, yet proving what became pronounced is amazingly very complicated.

No, there's no place on the web where you can look up someone's employment history. But you might contact your local Social Security office for your records.
