depnds on if it feels like a muscle pulling the bone at an odd angle or if there is swelling in the joint or ligament. If it is a pulled muscle, there has been some ripping along the fibers, it will need some time to repair. However, what is happening is the muscle doesn't want to relax, and it can pull bones slightly out of orbit. Or it could be inflammation in the ligament or tissue in the joints themselves. There are two kinds of inflammation, one is good, it protects your body, and the other is not good, because it is a cry-baby and keeps inflammation around a lot longer than it needs to be there (as in tennis elbow, bad backs, arthrititis too) Your body wants the cox 1 inhibitor, but not the cox 2, which is the bad sort of swelling. The problem is over the counter anti-inflammatories work on both, where you really only want a cox2 inhibitor.
