You'll have to dig out your instruction book that came with the phone. Not all phones have the same method for making adjustments.

1. Read the manual.
2. If that does not work, visit the manufacture's website and find "contact us" and email them.

Most answering machines I've had could vary the number of rings, however, some did not have this feature.

Many answering machines have a button to slide and select the number of rings. But check the owners manual or if you have lost it go to the manufacturers website, they often have manuals on line in pdf format.
