They exist, though they are extremely rare. It is my opinion that we find regular friends, but those real true friends find us. When we initiate relationships, that other person is not necessarily going to be a good friend, but if someone initiates a friendship with you, chances are very good that they will be a real friend because they chose to put up with you on their own.

The hardest thing in the world is to find a true friend. Then when you do something always happens to take them away.
I think that is why GOD gave us marriage. That is the one person that should be your very best and true friend.
But in the mean time look in places that involve your interests. Church singles groups, health clubs, self improvement classes, ect...

Friends do exist. you make them. it just takes courage to walk up to people and say hi. I have tons of friends just be saying hi and asking stuff that won't freak them out.
