is cabo a good spot to go to in mexico?

I won't go back. The people are great, but theres nothing there but bars. Theres only 1 beach you can get in the water, the rest are very dangerous. Fishing wasn't very good either.

Cabo San Lucas is a great place to vacation and live. There are many activities for children and adults...singles, marrieds and families.
There are great restaurants, at least 3 wonderful swimmable beaches (unlike the previous poster said), calm waters, sites to see and tours to go on, people to talk with and...the sun only shines 360 days a year. Cabo San Lucas is paradise on earth. No other place like it.
Cabo also has a great mix of American style in Mexico. You'll feel at home with English and enjoy using Spanish. American customs have been incorporated into the town of Cabo San Lucas.
Go...you will fall in love with the people and the area.

I was a little iffy about going to Cabo at first. I was just there in May and have to say that it was the best vacation I had in my life. It was so relaxing and fun. I am really into scuba diving so I did 4 dives in the time I was there. We stayed in a hotel on the Pacific side and you can't go in the water but WHO CARES! The pool is all you need. We spent a total of 2700 for a week of stay/airfaire(San Diego), food, scuba, and I even got a $200 massage!!!! It was awesome.
PS. If you have never scuba they will take you there and guide you through the whole thing. You don't even need to be certified.

Cabo is a VERY awsome spot to go in mexico if you like the beaches, Parties and just down right awsome place. Been there every year for the past 6 yrs u will love it

Hello, i beg to differ with dianna, there are lot of things you can do in cabo, first let me tell you the fishing is great that's why the world's richiest billfish tournament take place in cabo with more than 3.8million dollars in game! you can also do parasailing, scuba diving wich is amazing specially the sandfalls and well many more things to see, have adventures with an atv tour, or a smooth horseback riding tour, do some snorkeling, take the bottom glass tour to the world famous arch, take a day trip to La Paz, todos santos and/or eastcape, and obviosly the night life is great! cabo wabo, squid roe, mambo cafe, nowhere else bar, etc.

Never been. But I've heard that is tons of fun.. you can always go to Acapulco or Mazatlan, cancun is pretty awesome too. You have alot to chose in Mexico is an awesome place :)

Not especially. Go to Ixtapa or on the coast South of Ixtapa.
