I've never had a period like this...instead of it just coming out, i feel like i need to go to the bathroom every five minutes, and when i do instead of urine, blood comes out. It kinda scares me. I feel pain also, i've never felt this before either. It feels like i need to go to the restroom but it just hurts, aching! Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else before? Is it normal to have periods with no pain then all of a sudden not be able to sleep? I really need my sleep for a big day tomorrow...i've tried to think about other subjects, doesn't work. HELP!

Since you said "urine", meaning you feel like you need to pee, it's not cramps! It sounds like you have a urinary tract infection! Go to an emergency room or express clinic, the pain will only get worse! Trust me, I've had one.

Normal periods do not gush like that.
It sounds to me like a misscarry. If there is any chance at all that you could have gotten pregnant, then it may be.
I have a few myself. The cramps are more severe and the blood sometimes literally pours out.
If you haven't missed any periods then you will be fine with an early term misscarry. It will slow down soon and all pass in a few days.
However, large amounts of blood loss is not good no matter where it comes from.
If you start to get lightheaded, then call 911. If you live alone then call you mom and tell her what is happening. Make sure some is aware of it just in case you do loose concousness.
If it is still the same tommorrow then get to a doctor ASAP. Hemmorages can also cause bleeding like that.

Please dont worry. u are having ur periods. just relax.
Getting your period is a totally healthy, normal part of your life cycle. Your first period, or menstruation, will start some time between age 9 and 18. Don't worry if you haven't gotten your's yet…every body develops at a different speed.

Periods are a sign that your body is now physically mature enough to have a baby. The blood comes from the lining of your uterus after it has prepared for the implantation of an egg. You'll likely get your period for about 40 years, until your body runs out of its supply of eggs. When your body runs out of eggs, there is no more need for you to have your period, and you will be too old to have children. This is called menopause.

Take rest and sleep. It will be there for 3-5 days.Have pain killers if the pain persists

Was there any chance at all that you could be pregnant? It sounds a bit like how I felt when I miscarried. Was your "period" late or anything?

If not, then like someone said already, maybe it's just cramps... I didnt have cramps when I was younger, but as I matured more, I started to get them. Hopefully it's nothing serious, but if it doesn't slow down soon, I would definitely see a doctor.

Take some pamprin, it works really well for cramps.. I feel ya, having horrid cramps right now and haven't bled like this or cramped like this in years!

Also, a heating pad works wonders on your belly.

And yes, you can have normal periods and then have them change..It's those lovely hormones that we girls get that like to change a lot...

You are probably getting really bad cramps! It happens to the best of us, get a heating pad and place it on your tummy, if you don't have one use a warm towel..it works...or take a nice warm bathe..it would sooth the pain..
