It is an emotional experience that not everyone could handle. I think it is a privilege to be able to have kids, and if you could help someone who isn't able to do it, then why not? It depends on who it is of course, a family member vs a stranger..but each person knows their own capability. If I could make a couple happy I'll do it, I know I'll become attached to the baby after carrying it for 9 months, but I'll know what I am getting myself into before I do it...and like every other decision we make for ourselves in our lives, we deal with the consequences.

It sounds like a nice thing 2 do 2 help out a couple but I don't think I could do that I would become 2 emotionally attached to the baby.

I don't think so. I've read a bit about it and it can be really damaging mentally if your not the right kind of person. The best candidates are those that show few maternal instincts or have already had all the children that they want.

Absolutely yes. And I probably will be. My little sister cannot carry her own children, and I have already offer to carry her children for her. She is the bravest girl in the world and I would do anything for her, so lending her my womb for 9 months is the best gift I can offer her.

I would only do it for my sisters though, don't think I could do it for anyone else.

I would only to a blood relative, like for my sister, brother, or cousins. But not to a stranger. But it would have to be the last resort.
