Is it necessary to challange your partners love for you by bringing out any form of jealousy?...I am going out with someone else, you'll have to understand he/she was there before you....

Is third party intervention necessary to prove or challange someone's love for you.

I believe that we've all felt a little jealous at some point in our life.Love is a strong emotion. There is little room for jealousy in a healthy relationship. The third party is the party that suffers the most because often in the long run they are the one being used.If making the other person jealous is necessary to sustain a relationship; maybe there is no real relationship because in the end one party will decide that its no longer worth the effort to maintain the relationship.
I could be way of course, here but thats my feeling.

No, it shouldn't be. But it goes both ways.

Sometimes when the person you love realizes you have a jealous nature, they will seem to take a perverse pleasure in torturing you with comments about other relationships or other people they are chatting with or seeing.

This is very hurtful and can cause a lot of strain on a good relationship. When this is done too often, it can ultimately destroy what was a beautiful friendship.

I say leave past loves in the past. If this is just an Internet fling, don't cause unnecessary pain by mentioning other people you are seeing or chatting with.

Common sense tells me there are others, but this is not something that needs to be rubbed in my face.

Jealousy is a sign of insecurity. If jealousy is a persistent problem... no matter who's at fault ... then the relationship will fail. A strong, stable, confident person will not be able to deal with an insecure person for very long..

It is positively possible..Jealousy is a negative feeling that will choke and destroy a relationship. If someone loves you, you will know. They shouldn't have to prove a darn thing to you or anyone else.
