Bad news, if your car was in a flood water and all kinds of elements entered you wiring and electrical components. You will see other problems pop up from time to time. Your computer wiring connector is thew first thing I would suspect. Disconnect your battery terminal and check and re-seat the computer wiring harness. I really think you should trade it in.
Good Luck

You have an electrical short caused by water in your system. Unplug the battery and allow the car to dry fully. Use one or more fans to speed up drying. Make sure to dry behind the dash - lots of electronic equipment there. To prevent permanent damage, do not operate your car until it is fully dry and you have done the following. You will need to drain your transmission fluid and replace with new. (If you operate the car with water in the trans, the trans will be damaged almost immediately). You also need to drain the fuel from your gas tank and add new. Pull your dipstick to see if there is water in your oil (oil on dipstick will look milky instead of oily). If so, drain and add new. Check your rear end (if RWD) and most likely will have to replace the gear oil. (Water would have gotten in the vent hole). When all this is done, operate your vehicle for a few minutes and then check all fluids again. Repeat as necessary. Good Luck.
All this assumes you do not have insurance on it. If you have insurance, contact them and file a claim immediately.

well for the fan you could have someone install an inline toggle switch and mount it under the dash (make sure you turn it on after you start the car) as for the car not having any power when you give it gas.... turn it into your insurance and get a new car (in which case don't worry about the switch)

Since it was flooded or floodeded, as you say, it became a boat. You have to have it in water now to go anywhere when you press on the gas.

Call your insurance company, it should be covered under your comprehensive policy. You will have all kinds of electrical problems if the harness and fuse box got wet
