To do a better job, to get a better grade, to make it more succinct and readable, to possibly prepare it for publication, to double check quotes and sources, to correct grammar, spelling, and syntax, to ensure ideas are stated clearly, to make it the best it can be, etc.

There are many explanations for revising and modifying an acedemic papars. Prominent amongst them are; a million. To examine for the spelling, grammar, errors, tenses, verbs and punctuations.. two. To make sure a go with the flow of concept. three. To upload or dispose of a few aspects. four. To upload or dispose of citations that can both be principal to inappropriate for your presentation. five. Make definite that your entire aspects are good written. 6. Add taste for your ideas and so on.

You revise and edit ANY paper in order for it to be easily read and understood. If you are going to put something on paper, doesn't it stand to reason you want it to be your best effort? If it is an academic paper, you had BETTER revise and edit to gain the best grade possible.

To get a good grade = to get a good GPA = to go to a good school = to spend a LOT of money on the good education = to get a good-paying job (supposedly)

To fix any grammatical errors.You should always have someone other than yourself review your paper too..they mightnotcie thigns you don't.

1. to make sure you didnt make any stupid spelling/ grammatical errors
2. to make sure your arguments make sense
3. to make sure your sources/citations are right and in the right place
4. to prevent you from looking like an idiot to whoever reads it
