Never thinking I would be gone long and he would straighten up. But after almost 2 yrs of him jerking me along, thinking we were working towards living together again I catch him with another woman. And he lies about it and starts bringing up all the old **** for a smoke screen and puts all the blame on me.when all he wanted to do was live his single life and keep me on the hook so I wounldn't go on with my life. So like an idiot I thought he was sincere, but once again he just made a fool of me. And she hasn't left his house once. Will a judge grant spousal support for adultry if I was the one who moved out. Or will he say 4 months isnt long enough? And do I need proof to show infidelity?

Well, I think 4 months is a bit too short a time to claim spousal support. He may bring up the fact that you left, I think there's been successful defense based on (I'm paraphrasing) "spousal disregard". In a husband, this is refusing to work or support the marriage. The girlfriend may/may not count against him. He can point to the fact that you were seperated as evidence that the marriage was dissolved..........
Not beating up on ya, just pointing out that he'll be able to fight back. Personally, I "cheer" for any woman who has the courage to stand up and get rid of an abusive bf/husband.
Ironic, but I was incredibly proud of my sister for being arrested (domstic viol.) for beating the living sh--t out of her physically abusive boyfriend.

Laws vary but state, so you need to contact a local attorney. You can't rely on the advice you receive in this forum.

I don't feel sorry for thoughtless people that willingly make poor decisions concerning relationships. This is a case of you got exactly what you asked for.
