How do I change a photo from an IMG to a JPG?

Question

I want to be able to load some photo's onto MySpace and I am painfully illiterate when it comes to this kind of stuff. Any help you could give would be MOST appreciated.

Copy it onto word then right click on the image click save as
then below file name there is file type
click it and select .jpg
