My mom got pregnant with me when her tubes were tied. And I knew another woman who had her tubes tied for many years and got pregnant. The chances are really slim, but it could happen.

The chances of getting pregnant after having your tubes tied is very slim, but still possible. Hopefully the Dr. did a good job on the surgery!!

Pregnancy can occur after tubal sterilization, but the chances are quite low.

The failure rate after a tubal ligation is about 1 in 350 procedures. The chanes of the pregancy being ectopic are of course higher than normal. If you cannot do either IVF or a reversal, you will not be able to get pregnant.

Tubal sterilizations are PERMANENT.

I tied my tubes 7 years ago. Is it possible to get pregnant while they are still tied? Yes, through IVF.

There is a small chance. I had my tubes tied in 1988 and the Dr said it was 99%. The only 100% in removal of some plumbing.

if they didn't burn, then it is possible for them to heal and grow back.
