14 Can be a fun age. U may not need the makeup because ur 14 and ur young and I bet very pretty =-)

Smart is GREAT and a sense of humor is good and good taste in fashion is ALWAYS a plus.

But the fact that your asian shouldn't have anything to do with anything when u have all that going for ya.

U say your shy, well may be as u get older or make lots of friends you'll start to get over it( Im shy my self) but I deal with it with MY sense of humor. Don't allow rejection and beiong shy blockk u from asking a guy out. The worst he can say is no and u just get past it by moving on to the next guy ( it's his lost if he says no) to a smart, funny girl with a good taste in fashion & music.

I know that rejection can hurt but don't let it hurt too long, this is a big world and the are plenty of guys out there if one says no to dating.

And also u may not have to ask the guys out they will ask u out

My daughter just turned 13 two weeks ago and will be a freshman next year. She's worried too, but we all go through that, so don't worry, just have fun. When it's all over, you are going to wonder what you were so worried about. Don't worry about being asian, dark hair is the in thing right now. Don't worry about being too shy to ask them out, one day you are going to meet the person who's perfect for you. You may wonder what's taking so long, but sometimes thats just the way things happen. Do what you want to do. Make good choices. Don't worry, there is some gorgeous guy out there who is going to think you too are wonderful. And do something while you are waiting, have fun and enjoy life. Then when you do meet the right guy, he's going to listen to all the great things you've been doing and he will be impressed that you've got so much going for you!

No you aren't going to be stuck forever. You sound like me when I was 14. I had never had a boyfriend, I was a late developer, guys didn't show interest in me, etc etc. But things will change when you go to high school, trust me. I've had plenty of boyfriends, too many. You'll probably have one next year.

I was in the same situation. You will always have opportunities to date, love, flirt... but you being smart is a really unique thing to admit. The ditzy blondes are back! lol you should try dating... but not with the intention of settling down...Always put your education first though because you never know when you're going to need it to fall back on!!!
much luck in your future ambitions!

Sweetie take it from someone who understands...I was 17 when I had my first date, boyfriend, kiss & CHILD! Don't rush things be happy where your at. Stay grounded w/school. And if you still feel the need to find some attention from the one you adore...the worst he can say is no...build your confidence and let them know that your not affraid to take the first step!

I'm 37, male. When I was 14 girls don't look at me. At 18 that changed a lot and so on as time passes by.
Be yourself because you will find a boy that will love you.
