Adding a power bat isn't out the question, but they are probably looking for pitching to shore up the back end of the bullpen and rotation. Relievers like Scott Williamson and Steve Kline can be had. Their surplus OFs are expendable as well as relievers like Lance Cormier and Oscar Villareal.

I don't think Mcdowell is doing bad or worse than Leo did, but we need some relief in the bullpen. It gets so old to be ahead through the 6th or 7th and then just handing it over when the starter runs out of gas. We need at least one established reliever and a ace closer. Trade Langerhans and some of their draft picks.

they can trade Langerhans or (i doubt they will) Francoeur, they both have high trade value but other than that i really don't know, some teams just can't be perfect every year, you just gotta take it that they will not win it this year.
